Keeping up with the ever-tightening regulatory landscape can be challenging. When clients find themselves tangled in commercial litigation, financial services regulatory matters or other Government investigations, they turn to Stephanie for her proven record of getting the job done. Stephanie has worked on complex investigations with financial institutions involving multimillion dollar exposures across various jurisdictions.
Stephanie’s unique blend of commercial litigation and regulatory experience extends beyond the financial institutions sector and spans across industries including TMT, transport, government, and retail. Her versatile practice also includes advising on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters in the employment, ESG, national security, white collar crime and fraud, and anti-bribery space.
In addition to advising clients in the private sector, Stephanie has successfully defended Government statutory bodies in judicial review proceedings as well as acted for them on litigation arising from recent high profile social-political issues.

Assisting a major bank in proceedings to trace and recover misappropriated funds, and subsequent investigations by regulatory and enforcement authorities.
Acting for an employee of a global investment bank in a suspected market manipulation investigation by the Japanese SESC.
Advising an insurance company in an SFC investigation into whether their MPF policies are compliant with SFC requirements.
Advising two American companies in investigations of suspected bribery by its Hong Kong employees.
Acting for Airport Authority in a judicial review relating to an alleged breach of security protocol.
Acting for two statutory bodies to secure interim injunctions to restrain persons from obstructing and interfering with the proper use of their services in light of the social unrest in 2019.
Acting for a major bank in defending breach of contract claims brought by a software developer in HKIAC-administered arbitration proceedings.
Acting for a French multinational company in a claim for breach of warranties under a share purchase agreement in HKIAC-administered arbitration proceedings.
Advised multinational companies on compliance actions and investigations under the Hong Kong Competition Ordinance.
