Throughout this week we will be sharing a series of tables, which together will form a high-level comparative analysis of rules on transparency and political donations in four jurisdictions. Today, we begin with the UK, to be followed by Italy, Spain and Germany. Each table will cover a range of rules, their relevant tests and standards, those to whom they apply, and how these regulations may differ during an election period. We hope this will help businesses to understand their obligations in this regard, as well as the risks and opportunities for engaging in FDI regimes in these jurisdictions.
