The Law Society's Competition Section Advisory Committee appoints Hogan Lovells partner May Lyn Yuen as chair
London and Brussels, 5 December 2023 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells congratulates Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation partner May Lyn Yuen for being appointed chair of the Law Society of England & Wales’ Competition Section Advisory Committee.
May Lyn Yuen’s appointment follows her selection announced over the summer to serve on the Committee.
The Competition Law Section of the Law Society of England & Wales promotes knowledge and awareness of competition law developments and addresses current issues and challenges that competition lawyers face. In her new role, May Lyn will chair the Advisory Committee and work to develop, promote and support the resources and opportunities which the Competition Section provides its members.
May Lyn was promoted to partner in 2022 and is based in Brussels. She is qualified in England & Wales and registered with the Brussels bar. May Lyn’s practice is broad, spanning multi-jurisdictional mergers and large-scale complex antitrust investigations. Her clients come from a broad range of sectors, including the life sciences, consumer goods, technology, manufacturing and automotive sectors.
