Hogan Lovells welcomes the New Year with 38 new partner and 77 new counsel promotions

London and Washington, D.C., 4 January 2023 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells today announced that 38 of its lawyers have been promoted to partner effective 1 January across a network of 45+ offices across six continents, spanning the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Speaking on the promotions, Hogan Lovells’ CEO Miguel Zaldivar said: "We recognize that an important driver of our success is our people. In addition, Serena Pietrosanti, in the Tax, Pensions & Benefits practice in Rome, has also been promoted to “Head of Tax – Italy,” our most senior level of non-lawyer Tax fee-earner (comparable to partner level for lawyers) and her title will be “Head of Tax – Italy.

Separately, Hogan Lovells Fidelity, the joint office we established with Fujian Fidelity Law Firm in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone in 2016, has promoted one partner and one counsel as of 1 January 2023. Hogan Lovells Fidelity is an integral part of our growth strategy in Greater China and we are delighted to further strengthen our client offering in the region.
