Lauren Colton has a proven track record of obtaining favorable litigation results for clients in individual cases, mass torts and class actions in federal and state courts across the United States. Known for her innovative and aggressive defense strategies, Lauren serves as national product liability counsel for multiple manufacturers. In these roles, she uses her technical and scientific knowledge and understanding of her clients' regulatory and commercial environments to achieve successful outcomes. In addition to representing clients in high stakes litigation, Lauren routinely counsels clients, including developers of digital technology, at all stages of product development to help mitigate potential risks and assists with crisis management when the need arises.
As head of the firm’s Products Law practice, Lauren leads a global coordinated team of lawyers and scientists. She is regarded for her strong and diverse team and her commitment to mentoring and developing young lawyers. Her litigation team also frequently includes regulatory colleagues as Lauren understands the importance of regulatory issues in many product-related issues.
Nationally recognized for her product liability expertise, Lauren has been described by clients in Chambers USA Guide as “very sharp, highly experienced in product liability“ and commended for her ability to “solve complex problems.”
