Hogan Lovells demonstrates impressive recognition and growth in 2024 Chambers USA rankings report
Washington, D.C., 7 June, 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has been recognized for another year of growth with a strong showing in the 2024 Chambers USA legal rankings for lawyers and practice groups based in the United States. The firm achieved Band 1 recognition in 23 practice areas, up from 20 in 2023, while 35 lawyers were ranked in Band 1, up from 34 in 2023.
Among our practices, four were elevated to Band 1 status: International Trade: Export Controls & Economic Sanctions (USA - Nationwide); Higher Education (USA – Nationwide); Telecom, Broadcast & Satellite (District of Columbia); and Litigation: General Commercial (Virginia). In total, 75 practices were ranked, with seven rising in the rankings and another ten ranked for the first time.
Individually, our lawyers also excelled. Partners Jon Talotta (Litigation: General Commercial; Virginia) and Virginia “Ginny” Gibson (Litigation: White Collar Crime & Government Investigations; Texas) were elevated to Band 1 status. Two previously unranked partners, Stephanie Gold (Higher Education; USA - Nationwide) and Lauren Colton (Product Liability: Pharmaceutical; USA – Nationwide) also achieved Band 1 status. A total of 201 Hogan Lovells lawyers were ranked, up significantly from 174 in 2023 and 165 in 2022. Of those, 22 rose in the rankings and 42 were ranked for the first time.
