Pan-European Financial Institutions Brexit Webinar Series: Navigating the EU financial regulatory environment, post-Brexit

The EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement concluded between the EU and the UK sets out preferential arrangements in a number of areas, though very little with respect to financial services. By no means does it result in a level of integration that existed while the UK was an EU Member State.

Our panel of experts from across the EU will be looking at whether and, if so, how governments and regulators are trying to soften the “hard Brexit” effects for financial institutions. They will discuss practical questions such as temporary permissions regimes, contract continuity, relocation, outsourcing, back-branching and more generally depict the legal and regulatory landscape that the industry will have to navigate in servicing customers across the EU.
