Alex is the Head of the Corporate and Commercial practice of Hogan Lovells’ Madrid office and has over 20 years' experience as a transactional lawyer in Spain. Alex mainly assists international companies on their projects in Spain, or Spanish corporations on investments abroad.

Alex focuses his practice on international M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, strategic alliances and complex commercial projects. He has also represented clients in a variety of industry sectors over the years and is particularly well placed to assist companies in the energy, industrial, technology, e-commerce, consumer, and life sciences field.

As corporate & commercial law advisor to many multinational companies, he acts as local company secretary for some of our leading clients.

He is also involved in our Pro Bono program. He represents Hogan Lovells on the Advisory Board of the foundation Youth Business Spain which he helped set up in 2014 with several Spanish NGO's, JPMorgan and Accenture.
