Jeni Stallings is a problem-solver who provides practical, clear advice to international and domestic clients on corporate and finance matters in the energy and natural resources sector, with a particular focus on project development and acquisitions. Jeni joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2019 and returned for a second term in 2020.
Jeni also advises clients on American Indian law and policy matters with a focus on commercial project development, tax, jurisdictional matters and government-to-government relations. She is a member of the Cherokee Nation and serves her community by volunteering to assist high school students with college applications and as a mentor for the Dartmouth College Native American Program where she helps students navigate the transition and challenges that an Ivy League Institution presents.
Jeni is a member of the Hogan Lovells Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Working Group and a contributor to the Hogan Lovells ESG Global Vision Tool. Jeni advises clients on ESG matters relating to energy and natural resources.
As an undergraduate selected by the Udall Foundation, Jeni interned at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Environment and Natural Resources Division, Law and Policy Section where she conducted research and projects on cases regarding the Indian Child Welfare Act, illegal logging in Central Africa, and the protection of Atlantic bluefin tuna. Jeni also served as a Congressional Intern for U.S. Congressman Tom Cole (OK-04) in 2014.
