Ngoc Nguyen has helped foreign and Vietnamese clients structure and execute investments in Vietnam since 2007 with focus on project development and financing and corporate M&A transactions. Ngoc has been highlighted by clients and international legal registries as a notable practitioner in Vietnam.
Combining her in-depth knowledge of Vietnamese laws and local market with international legal training and practice, Ngoc is well regarded by clients for delivering solutions that work to solve problems arising in complex cross-border transactions by bridging divergent interests of stakeholders from different backgrounds.
Ngoc represented international sponsors in various multi-billion dollar BOT power projects in Vietnam including the two latest BOT power projects that marked the most recent policies of the Vietnamese government on BOT power plants and a number of LNG-to-power projects at different stages of development. She has worked on major transactions in renewable energy, airport infrastructure, road transportation and water supply. Ngoc has also spent significant time advising Vietnamese regulators on developing laws and policies on energy and infrastructure projects and competitive bidding for selection of investors in projects.
Ngoc also advises foreign investors in investments in Vietnamese companies operating in different industries including IT, fintech, education, healthcare, food and beverage, retail and logistics and obtaining merger filing clearance in Vietnam for many of those transactions.
