Three Hogan Lovells attorneys named in the Washingtonian's list of Washington D.C.'s 500 Most Influential People of 2024
Washington, D.C., 21 May, 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to share that partners Neal Katyal, Neil Chatterjee, and Kelly Ann Shaw have been named in Washingtonian magazine’s list of Washington D.C.’s 500 Most Influential People of 2024 in the following categories:
• Neal Katyal – Legal Intelligentsia: Neal, the former Acting Solicitor General of the U.S., has argued 51 cases at the Supreme Court, more than any other minority attorney in U.S. history.
• Neil Chatterjee – Energy: Neil formerly served as Commissioner and Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). He has extensive experience across the energy landscape both domestically and internationally.
• Kelly Ann Shaw – Trade: Kelly Ann is well-known as one of the most influential leaders and trade policy experts in the world. Before joining Hogan Lovells, she served in a number of high-profile government roles, including Deputy Assistant to the President for International Economic Affairs and as the lead negotiator for the United States at the G7, G20 and APEC.
All three were also recognized in 2022 and 2023’s 500 Most Influential list.
The 500 Most Influential People of 2024 list comprises experts and advocates outside the government who are playing big roles in Washington’s policy debates. This prestigious list was determined by factors including deep subject-matter expertise, a significant understanding of how the nation’s capital works, and an understanding of the nuances and complexities of a particular issue area. The list also includes those who are focused on policy subjects the publication considers to be of special relevance right now to our slate of elected officials.
