Press releases | 29 October 2024

London, 29 October 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Soho Square Capital on its growth investment in Live Manage Facilitate (LMF), a leading installer of renewable energy measures in properties across the UK.

Established in 2016, LMF has completed over 20,000 energy efficiency installations to date, supporting and bringing thousands of UK households out of fuel poverty.  Installations are primarily in low-income households, with funding provided by energy suppliers mandated by Ofgem under the government’s ECO4 scheme to make households more energy efficient. LMF also installs solar panels for private and commercial properties.

Soho Square Capital will utilise its expertise as well as its capital to support LMF’s expansion plans, with a focus on continuing to deliver under the new Government’s incoming schemes as well as broadening its private solar installation, commercial and social housing business. Soho Square Capital will also support LMF in further enhancing its operational structure and supporting its capable management team.

The Hogan Lovells team advising Soho Square Capital was led by London-based Private Equity partner James Cross, with support from associates Andrew Poole and Russell Clay. Additional support was provided by counsel Stephen Timbrell and senior associate Charlie Middleton and counsel Tom Eyre-Brook.

Commenting on the deal, partner James Cross said: “We are delighted to support the Soho Square Capital team on its latest investment and on a further deployment of their flexible capital solution. This is another transaction, which showcases our busy and high-quality mid-market private equity offering.”
