David advises sponsors and financial investors on M&A and financing aspects of power and infrastructure projects, including ports, LNG terminals and LNG-to-power projects, and renewable energy. Dr Tobias Faber, Global Practice Lead for the Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects practice area, added, “David’s impressive track record and experience makes him an excellent fit with our market leading IERP practice in Vietnam. With David on board, we look forward to further growth in markets that are strategically important to our clients and to the firm.”
Gaston Fernandez, Vietnam Managing Partner, said: “I am excited about David joining the firm. His depth of experience and complementary client base will be a catalyst for us to continue the rapid growth of our Vietnam corporate and finance practice over the past several years, and help us scale up to the next level as the country’s rapid economic growth drives client demand for sophisticated legal services.”
David Harrison said, "Hogan Lovells has demonstrated to me a strong commitment to continue growing its practice in Vietnam. Its global, integrated network provides the perfect platform to allow me to support my clients. I look forward to adding my experience to such an impressive team in Asia-Pacific and globally.”
Lloyd Parker, Regional Managing Partner for Asia Pacific, said: “The addition of David Harrison comes on the heels of our recent expansion in APAC region where we hired Charmian Aw in Singapore, hired a team of three in December 2024 in Singapore, Rob Palmer in November 2024 in Singapore and a team of five in October 2024 in Hong Kong. This growth underscores the firm’s increased capabilities in Vietnam, Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as our ongoing commitment to the APAC region and we expect this trend to continue.”
