Led by Dusseldorf partners Christoph Küppers and Christoph Louven, international law firm Hogan Lovells advised IDEAL Versicherungsgruppe with its parent company IDEAL Lebensversicherung a.G. on the acquisition of myLife Lebensversicherung AG and HonorarKonzept GmbH from the previous owner, Swiss INSUREVOLUTION Partners AG of Switzerland. The change of ownership is subject to the approval of BaFin. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Berlin-based IDEAL Lebensversicherung a.G. is an independent mutual insurer that was the first insurer in Germany to introduce private long-term care pension insurance and is still the market leader in this area. IDEAL also offers life insurance and pension products.
myLife Lebensversicherung AG is a German provider of life insurance and pension products. HonorarKonzept GmbH is a leading service provider for fee-based consulting in the areas of insurance and finance.
