Hogan Lovells advises Linear Capital on the formation of its USD Fund V and Annex Fund II

Shanghai, 20 January 2022 - Global law firm Hogan Lovells advised Linear Capital on the establishment of its USD Fund V and Annex Fund II with a total commitment of US$500 million. The funds closed on December 15, 2021 and will invest in technology companies mainly in the Greater China region.
Linear Capital is a China-focused investment firm that concentrates on data intelligence and frontier technology startups related to China. The newly formed funds attracted commitments from university endowments, sovereign and pension funds, foundations with altruistic purposes, family offices, and funds of funds.
The Hogan Lovells team was led by Shanghai-based Corporate partner Tony Mou and Sydney-based Corporate partner James Wood. They were supported by Singapore-based associate Priscilla Pang and Sydney-based associate William Tai.
