Hogan Lovells advises Ares Management on the refinancing of Sykes Holiday Cottages and its acquisition of Forest Holidays

LONDON, 28 April 2022 - Led by banking and loan finance partner Francis Booth, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Ares Management funds on the refinancing of Sykes Holiday Cottages (Sykes), a vacation rental management platform backed by private equity firm Vitruvian Partners, and the financing of Sykes’s acquisition of Forest Holidays, the UK’s leading owner and operator of environmentally sensitive cabins.
The acquisition supports Sykes' ambition to become a leading UK-focused alternative accommodation platform with a diverse range of high quality and sustainable rental accommodation, employing more than 1,700 people and taking more than 2.65 million customers on holiday in 2022.
