Four Hogan Lovells partners named Law360 MVPs for International Trade, Real Estate, Health Care, and Transportation

Washington D.C. partner Cybil Roehrenbeck was recognized as a Law360 MVP in the Health Care category for her role as Executive Director of the AI Healthcare Coalition, which advocates on behalf of health care companies in the field of artificial intelligence. In a historic and precedent-setting win, the coalition in November 2021 obtained the first national payment rate for autonomous artificial intelligence services under the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, allowing Medicare beneficiaries to obtain AI-powered health care services, including receiving diagnoses. Washington, D.C.-based partner Jonathan Stoel was recognized in the International Trade category for his work representing the interests of the Government of Canada and the Canadian solar industry in novel safeguard extension proceedings before the US Trade Representative and International Trade Commission, as well as in the second-ever state-to-state dispute under US-Mexico-Canada Agreement Article 31. The panel unanimously and decisively ruled in Canada’s favor, leading to the successful negotiation of an innovative bilateral settlement agreement between the USA and Canada. In the Real Estate category, Washington, D.C. partner Stacey McEvoy was recognized for her work as co-counsel to Duke Realty, the largest domestic-only logistics real estate investment trust, in an approximately US$26 billion merger with Prologis, Inc. McEvoy led the negotiations on behalf of Duke Realty and advised the board of directors in connection with the unsolicited offer as well as the transaction.
