Allisa Newman focuses on regulatory matters across the transportation sector, including motor vehicles, rail, uncrewed aircraft systems, and motor carriers.

Allisa helps clients navigate regulation by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, and California Air Resources Board.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Allisa earned her J.D. at the University of Minnesota Law School where she served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Minnesota Law Review and targeted her studies toward regulatory and administrative law. She also gained valuable experience as a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Allisa holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
