Courtney has experience helping clients resolve pretrial disputes, as well as defending class action lawsuits and multidistrict litigation. She assists clients in all stages of litigation, including motions to dismiss, e-discovery, class certifications, motions for summary judgment, settlements, and trial.
Courtney maintains an active pro bono practice that includes regularly appearing in court on behalf of survivors of domestic abuse. She has also participated in discovery and motions practice for several of the firm’s impact litigation cases.
Courtney graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she served as the articles editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law and Public Affairs. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Courtney gained valuable experiences as an extern in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Criminal Division.
Courtney served as a law clerk to the Honorable John E. Jones III of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
