Webinar | 20 January 2022 | 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM (JST)
Select IP with Hogan Lovells | Webinar no. 10: IP Transactions: JV, R&D agreements, collaboration agreements, and related contractual arrangements (Part II)
Our tenth session will be the second of a two-part series on IP aspects of joint venture agreements, R&D agreements, collaboration agreements, and related contractual arrangements with Dr Frederick Ch'en, John Brockland, Katie McConnell, Christian Stoll, and Yu-An Chang.
Our lawyers will discuss practical, legal and commercial issues associated with such contractual arrangements (focusing in this session on R&D agreements and collaboration agreements), particularly from a comparative perspective (US, UK, Germany and China). Our lawyers will focus on recent trends from their respective jurisdictions, drawing on relevant case law and their experience in handling such IP transactions. In both parts of the two-part series, our lawyers will share their views on potential opportunities, risks and risk mitigation for Japanese companies contemplating and negotiating such transactions with overseas counterparties.
There will be a question-and-answer period and you will be able to submit questions online during the webinar. If you would like to send questions in advance (in Japanese or English), please do so through the registration form.
To register, please send your full name, company name, email address, job title, and phone number to: tokyoevent@hoganlovells.com.
