2023 International Insolvency & Restructuring Symposium

On 2-3 November 2023, the American College of Bankruptcy, the International Insolvency Institute (III), INSOL and IWIRC held the 2023 International Insolvency & Restructuring Symposium in Lisbon, Portugal.

This two-day event was filled with programming on worldwide insolvency, including sessions like “State of the Market on Cross-Border Recognition”, “Where Is the Next European Restructuring Hub?”, and “Offering Solutions: When Sanctions and Insolvency Cross Paths” with a keynote from Hon. Catarina Serra of the Portuguese Supreme Court of Justice.

Restructuring partner Ronald Silverman moderated the “Current Issues and Prognostications for the Restructuring World: Key Stressed Industries, Problem Real Estate, Interest Rates, Inflation and Debt Walls” panel presented by INSOL.
