Pierre helps companies to develop sanctions compliance policies and training programs, obtain government licenses and authorizations, and conduct internal investigations and voluntary disclosures. In this regard, Pierre has experience representing clients before the EU-UK sanctions and export controls authorities, and has assisted clients with litigations before the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Pierre worked as a public affairs advisor in Brussels (Belgium) where he was involved in matters related to Brexit negotiations, and as an associate in the tax department of international law firms in Paris (France), London (UK), and Athens (Greece). He also taught EU Law and International Tax Law to LLB students at University Paris II Pantheon Assas and to French Trainee Solicitors (Eleves avocats) for 4 years.
