David Duquette is an Associate in our Corporate and Finance Practice Group. Since joining Hogan Lovells as a summer associate in 2022, David has supported both public and private companies on a variety of transactions. His practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, with a particular emphasis on strategic transactions in the sports and entertainment sectors. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, David earned his J.D. in 2023 from Duke University School of Law while serving as President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and participating in the Community Enterprise Clinic. David earned his B.A. in 2018 from Duke University.
Representative experience
Fenway Sports Group and a consortium of American Sports team owners in a multi-billion dollar partnership with PGA TOUR to launch PGA TOUR Enterprises.
Michael Arougheti, Mitchell Goldstein, and Michael Smith in purchasing the Baltimore Orioles, in partnership with Baltimore native David Rubenstein, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of The Carlyle Group.
Major League Pickleball on its merger with PPA Tour.
Aldo on its acquisition of the shoe brand Sperry.
