As part of our Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment practice in London, Antonia Croke focuses on complex, cross-border litigation and investigations for multinational companies and financial institutions.
Antonia has extensive experience advising on corporate and shareholder disputes, internal and regulatory investigations and compliance management programs. Her calm, commercial, and pragmatic approach means that she is adept at managing global teams on high profile litigation across borders.
Antonia has lived and worked in Asia, Australia and England and has advised on cases in the Courts in the UK, Europe, the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. She also spent four years as a Partner in our Hong Kong office.
Before joining Hogan Lovells in January 2019, Antonia worked in the London office of an international law firm and as an associate in two leading Australian law firms in Sydney from 2004 to 2010. Antonia also spent time on secondment in the Litigation team at a major UK bank. In 2015 Antonia was featured in the Cambridge Judge Business School magazine, Flux as a “Leading Light” in the legal industry.
Representative experience
Advising a multinational automotive company in respect of contractual force majeure issues arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Advising a multinational energy company on multimillion dollar claims arising out of a supply contract and representing the client in proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia.
Advising a Hong Kong company on debt recovery claims relating to a supply contract in the UK.
Advising a multinational beverage company on the dissolution of joint venture in the UK, including potential claims relating to competition, IP and contractual issues.
Advising a multinational automotive company in relation to the termination of contractual arrangements relating to a joint venture in the UK.
Advising a multinational beverage company on contractual pricing issues arising out of a NY law governed supply agreement.
Advising a large independent UK oil producer on its US$2.5 billion financial restructuring, which was implemented by a Court-approved creditors' scheme of arrangement.*
Advising on a multinational telecommunications company’s cross border insolvency and litigation proceedings in Canada, the US and England.*
Advising a global investment bank in relation to an investigation in respect of the misuse of financial instruments.*
