Carlos is counsel in the Banking and Finance practice in our Madrid office. He specializes in all types of financing transactions (including infrastructure and acquisition finance, energy project finance, securitizations, refinancings and debt restructurings).

His clients include major local and international financial institutions and corporate clients involved in transactions related to different types of renewable energy production. Carlos participates (as vice-secretary) in the secretariat of an Iberian renewable energy group well known in the sector.

Representative experience

Advising WV Finance in the incorporation of a securitization fund and in the issuance of securitization bonds for an amount of €723,6m.

Advising a leading technology group for consumer finance in a UmSm$200m consumer loan receivables securitization.

Advising General Electric in the sale and lease of aircrafts to certain well-known companies within the aircraft industry.

Advising FCE Bank PLC in the sale of a portfolio of non-performance loans to an international fund.

Advising ING Bank in the financing for the acquisition of real estate assets by a listed company (€38m).

Advising Banco de Sabadell in the financing for the acquisition of certain Spanish pharmaceutical companies by an Irish specialty pharmaceutical company (€57m).
