Beth demonstrates a well-rounded view of the pensions industry and the issues facing our clients, from advising both trustees and employers of UK pension schemes. She is a Senior Associate in the Pensions Group in our London office.
Representative experience
Beth has advised both trustees and sponsoring employers of defined benefit pension schemes in relation to complex mergers of multiple schemes.
Providing day-to-day advice to pension scheme trustees on member complaints, changes to legislation and scheme documentation.
Advising trustees of occupational pension schemes on their duties in respect of benefit changes and scheme closures.
Beth has advised a multi-national corporation in relation to its three UK defined benefit schemes, including advising on scheme closures, corporate reorganisations and "employer debt."
Beth has advised a number of sponsoring employers on options for liability management in respect of their defined benefit pension schemes.
Working with employers and trustees on the implementation of "automatic-enrolment" and considering the implications of the new flexibilities available for defined contribution pensions.
