Joseph advises investors, occupiers and landlords on disputes relating to their commercial property interests.
His areas of practice include disputes arising out of property transactions, construction disputes and building defects, development disputes, rights of light, easements and other development constraints, commercial landlord and tenant matters and agents’ commission disputes.
Joseph also advises on property-related professional liability.
Representative experience
Advising a housebuilder on vacant possession strategy and rights of light issues concerning its construction of a residential tower complex in Canary Wharf.*
Defending the landlord of a distribution park in disputing liability for premia of over £60 million under an agreement for lease with its principal occupier.
Acting for a real estate investment manager in a dispute concerning liability for commission on investments of £22.5 million.*
