Anne has worked on a wide range of projects located across the globe, including high speed trains, oil platforms to airports and hydroelectric power plants. The focus of her work is on assisting clients to avoid disputes wherever possible. To this end, she is often involved working alongside the project team while the project is still progressing and not just when a dispute has arisen.

As counsel in Hogan Lovells' International Arbitration and Litigation Group, Anne Littlewood has extensive experience working on dispute resolution matters for clients who are operating within the international construction and engineering industries. Having worked in-house while on secondment with two different clients she is keenly aware of the demands which are put on both the in-house legal teams and the business groups and how important it is for advice to be practical and relevant to the specific set of facts in question. If proceedings have had to commence, the next challenge is invariably conducting the proceedings in an efficient manner. Anne has substantial experience of managing large complex dispute processes, including international arbitration (under LCIA, ICC and UNCITRAL rules) and English Court litigation.

Anne’s work has included adjudication, mediation and expert determination cases.
