Abdulaziz A. AlAbbad, an accomplished legal professional with polished corporate and regulatory experience. He served as Head of MENA Investments Legal Advisory at PIF. Abdulaziz enjoys over 17 years of extensive local and international experience. He oversaw all PIF legal matters in the MENA region, including corporate, M&A and commercial and regulatory matters.
Formerly serving as a Senior Director, Al-Abbad excels in managing complex transactions, corporate governance, M&A, and regulatory affairs. Notably, his previous roles at SABIC in Saudi Arabia and Europe significantly enriched his expertise in corporate law and M&A. His experience includes an 18-month secondment to an international law firm. Towards the beginning of his career, he was a Legal Counselor at the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers, which is the primary legal advisory body in the Kingdom.
