Legal Framework for AI Applications in Capital Markets

On Thursday, 21 November 2024, at 6 pm CET we will be holding this event in our Frankfurt office and also online for those who cannot join in person.

Capital market activities have leveraged big data and machine learning techniques for quite some time and are now increasingly integrating the use of generative and other forms of advanced AI systems. Having a robust legal framework for these changes and visibility of the legal challenges is vital for every legal and compliance function.

We would like to discuss with you how to build such a legal framework for the most relevant use cases of AI in capital markets, such as in securities trading, investment services and risk management. As part of this discussion, we will address relevant aspects of financial services regulations, AI & data laws as well as cybersecurity requirements.

As with the other sessions of our HL Digital Finance Dialogue series, the session will take place in our panoramic Frankfurt office (and alternatively online).
