Drawing on a broad range of transactional experience, Tony Brown works side by side with clients to reach practical solutions to their most challenging legal issues.

Tony focuses his practice on intellectual property (IP) and technology transactions, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other complex commercial transactions. He has experience representing multinational public companies, emerging companies, private equity sponsors and private companies in a variety of industries and sectors, including technology, automotive, life sciences, energy, manufacturing and distribution.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Tony was an associate in the Charlotte, North Carolina office of another international law firm. While in law school, Tony was a member of the Journal of Law and Politics and completed judicial internships in the Federal District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
